Travels

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go and visit my friend in Delft, Holland. I had a great time there; the town is beautiful and not far from Amsterdam. While exploring the town centre I came across a charity shop, so I had to take a look. Although in the main I found Holland prices a bit more expensive than the UK, it wasn’t the case here. All the clothes were under 10 euros, and most were less than 5.

I found a really nice felt scarf for my friend, and also this denim shirt. It’s huge, but for 3 euros I couldn’t leave it behind. It looks pretty good layered over a dress, or buttoned up with leggings or even thick tights.

This has probably been mentioned before, but it’s so true, when looking for good things in a charity shop it’s best to disregard size and just try things on. Another tip would be if you’re not sure, get it anyway! 🙂
